Data Security and Privacy

Course Description

Data Security and Privacy introduces concepts of data security. Basic cryptographic mechanisms were introduced, and it was explained how these mechanisms could be used to protect data during transmission over the Internet or while data is stored on computing systems. The module component also introduced the technical aspects of data privacy and concepts such as anonymity, linkability, observability and pseudonymity.
